"Drops of life"
This work is a water feature consisting of fired ceramic sculptural tiles showing hands partially collecting the water, which ultimately lands in the pot below. It shows the connection between humans and the natural world - the precious gifts we receive.
Fish mural made up of sea-themed tiles - installation for St Bede's Kindergarten
Making of sun mural made up of sun-themed tiles - installation at Elsternwick Primary School

Working with the year 3 and 4 students at Elsternwick Primary, I designed an installation to enhance and celebrate the theme of that year's learning.
The theme was the sun and it was utilised across many different subjects. So I helped each child create a three dimensional tile within the theme. Each tile expresses what the sun means to that child.
I fired the tiles and returned with a warm range of glazes. We glazed the tiles and re-fired them.
I created a central, circular yellow tile and designed the tiles so they expanded from the centre in rays, like the sun itself.
The final result is installed on the external wall of Elsternwick Primary School.
